Explanation of my books ("The Elementals", not to be confused with "Magic")
It's about 8 people.
Zack (Main), Mike, Johnny, Eric, Lydia, Linda, Maria, Airia.
They all control one element each:
Shadow, Fire, Spirit, Earth, Water, Thunder, Light, Air.
They all have their respective strengths and weaknesses, like shadow not being able to interact with fire, etc.
Of course, they can touch each other, if they are in human form.
They can transform into "Half-real mode" and "real mode"
"Half-real" is when they transform into their true form, but at a human size.
As they are now made up of "Matter" (see below), they can't touch anything it'd react with.
"Real" is when they go full out, which is about...
2½ Empire State Buildings put on each other.
Zack's (for example) "real" form is about 3 tall, feet to head, with a wingspread of 2½.
It's not possible to transform into anything, no.
You still need it's DNA and there's a ritual and stuff.
And it wouldn't help you to copy someone else, as it'd just be as if you'd changed places.
MATTER
Matter is what the universe is built on. It's inside every atom.
Think of it as another suggestion besides the "String Theory" and the "Loop Theory".
We are basically made of matter, and when we walk, we don't move our legs, we move the matter inside the leg forward.
Have you seen "The day the Earth stood still"?
You know that giant robot?
That couldn't move unless all those balls (or whatever) moved too.
Something like that.
However, the protagonists (and a lot of other people. The perks of being a "Royal" will be listed below) can move the matter freely, forming it into what they want.
Just the ones in their own elements though.
And they can't move the matter in their own bodies, as that restriction was "blessed" on them by the Royal Elementals (see below).

Volcano?
Fire and Earth working together.
They were once on-

Their elementals are of royal blood, but if only half, or even that.

-Can switch from human form to the other ones

A dark city is shown, smoke rising from places.
CAMERA CHANGE to a rooftop.
We see from the left side of the building.
A pair of feet flies by.
Camera follows them, until they freezeframe on one of the feet stepping on the edge of the rooftop.
CAMERA SWITCH to birdview from the left of this person, as he jumps of the rooftop.
CAMERA SWITCH to above the person, three "photo snapshots", as he is falling further and further down.

CUE TITLE
CAMERA SWITCH to the left of the person
Inner Monologue (while still falling)
"It's been years since the world was the way you're used to.
Who am I, you ask?... Well, just call me Zack.
I'm one of the chosen princes of the elements.
Darkness, to be more precise.
